Is this a real oil painting or a print?+
It is a genuine physical oil painting created by hand by a portrait artist. We never send a filter, photo print or mass-produced canvas.
Is my pet photo good enough?+
The best reference is clear, close-up, taken at eye level and lit with natural daylight. Keep both ears and the full face in frame.
Can you paint more than one pet?+
Yes. Choose the number of pets in the configurator. Each additional pet adds $45 because the artist must compose and paint another likeness.
Can I choose the background?+
Yes. A softly blended solid-color background is included, keeping the original photo background is free, and a new painted landscape is available for an additional fee. You may also let the artist choose a flattering palette.
Can I approve the portrait before delivery?+
Yes. We send a clear photo of the actual painting before final finishing, so you can review the likeness and request thoughtful adjustments.
How long does the process take?+
Allow approximately 7–10 business days for the first proof. Final completion and tracked delivery begin after you approve the artwork.
