✓ GREAT PHOTO

Five simple photo tips

  1. Get close. The face and upper body should fill most of the image.
  2. Meet their eyes. Photograph at your pet's eye level instead of looking down.
  3. Use daylight. A bright window or outdoor shade keeps fur color accurate.
  4. Keep every feature. Do not crop ears, whiskers or the top of the head.
  5. Choose sharp focus. Avoid blur, filters and compressed screenshots.

Quick quality check

✓ Best for painting

Clear eyes, true fur color, full ears, even light and the expression that feels most like your pet.

× Harder to paint accurately

Heavy shadow, flash glare, motion blur, distant pets or important features outside the frame.
